The Orleans County Republican picnic was held on August 21, 2021, at noon at Leonard Oakes Estate Winery under their pavilion and hosted by the Town of Yates Republican Committee.
The picnic was catered by The White Birch Golf Course and the 150 guests enjoyed beef-on-wick, salt potatoes, and a summer cucumber and tomato salad for lunch. American flag cookies were made by Case-Nic Cookies and donated by Coroner Scott Schmidt. Beer, pop, and water were supplied, and many different wines were able to be purchased from Leonard Oakes.
Tickets to the event were donated by Bogan and Tuttle Funeral Home.
Many friends and elected officials were in attendance. Legislature Chairman Lynne Johnson welcomed everyone and asked for their support of the Orleans County 2022 ballot of Republicans.
Republican Chairman Skip Draper recognized the Orleans County Republican Party Committee members and chairs that were present, He also recognized the current Republican Party elected officials, County and Town. He introduced our four special speakers, Congressman Chris Jacobs, Senator Rob Ortt, Assemblyman Steve Hawley, and Assemblyman Michael Norris.
Baskets provided by each Town Committee and each elected official were awarded to attendees.
What an excellent opportunity to meet like minded people in a beautiful location surrounded by food, speakers, and entertainment by Brad London.
The Orleans County Republican Party is alive, well and growing daily. We are committed to electing quality Republican candidates to ensure our county’s conservative way of life for generations to come. This picnic was about party unity. Pulling together to make a difference, united we stand.
